Wow! I adore this picture to much! I how Len gets a cover with Kahoko like this. Her dress and facial expression matches and it's simply well put together. Don't forgot get Kaji Aoi! This picture speaks for itself.

Alright let me clear some minds. In my other post of La Corda D’Oro and is titled “La Corda D’Oro Chapter 55!” was actually an extra chapter the reason for titling it as “La Corda D’Oro Chapter 55!” is because this chapter was featured in Lala December 2008 issue. To me I don’t think it should be called an extra chapter I mean it is part of the storyline nothing so “extra” about this chapter.
About the cover issue of Lala’s January issue, I hope Len gets a cover with Kahoko like this.

This first page of this chapter is PRICELESS. No words could ever describe it. I can’t describe it you just have to look at it to understand what I mean. Alright cut to the chase Meria! Now Len is teaching Kahoko the violin in replacement of Ousaki-senpai due to the fact he is going to Europe for a music competition. So Len and Kahoko meets up during their breaks and after school. Once it’s time for both of them to go home they usually walk their separate ways. Len over heard a few girls talking about how dark it is going to be. The next day after the lesson was done Len decides to walk Kahoko home. Yes fangirls you read right walk her home! On the way Kahoko gets hungry. I laughed so hard at this part the author drew her stomach growling as is it was an earthquake! But it is not as bad as Kazuki’s tummy growling in chapter 17, I mean that is what you call a real earthquake! And you see Len staring at her. So they stop by at a mini mart and Kahoko buys herself and Len a bun! In chapter 35 it was Len very first fast food experience, I’m guessing that was his first time eating a bun in a bag. On the way back they talk about the sports festival at school. They arrive at Kahoko’s house after she waves good-bye to Len and thanking him for walking her he blushes! This is not one ordinary blush it looks really bad. To bad Kahoko didn’t noticed it. *Sigh* Another clue she missed. The next day, Len and Kahoko continues their lessons. I have to say Kahoko looks very cute in pig tails. Okay back to the story. As they leave the girl from the training camp who performed a wonderful duet with Len (from chapter 48 ) appeared at their school. They talk and when she was about to congratulate Len on studying aboard he tells Kahoko to leave because he still haven’t told her he will be going away next year! Then Ryotaro appears and he asks if he could talk to Len in private. The girl walks away and says farewell to Len. Ryotaro heard the rumor that Len hasn’t told Kahoko that he will be going to study aboard next year. Soon Ryotaro confesses he likes Kahoko! The chapter ends with a picture of Len. I’m not totally sure if he suppose to look shock or he knew all this time about Ryotaro’s feelings towards Kahoko. Well that’s for the next chapter to answer that question. The next chapter comes out on February the 24th. See you next time! Woah 2 posts in one day! I’m on a roll baby!
The reason I haven’t posted a link where you could read the english translated version on this chapter is no has translated it. Although my chinese is not good and I can’t read in japanese I will not be translating then. When there’s a link I’ll post it on this blog. So be sure to come back and check every so often! Thanks dymycomic.com for the chinese scans!

Review
*Please keep in mind these are my own opinions*
May contains spoilers. Read at your own risk.
The art of this manga I have to say a rating of 6.5/10, carefully done and great detail. Although the style is beautiful it is not my style preference. On the cover of volume 1 shows Hyuga and Ashitaba in beautiful kimonos but where’s Hyuga’s other arm? Did he forget it or did he chopped it off with that sick ass dangerous knife of his?
The story is a quite a bit awkward. I mean what kind of girl chooses cooking over HOT HUNKY BOYS! Well I guess it doesn’t seem realistic to me. Although this is one way to make the story interesting.
I recommend this manga to “Special A” lovers.
Enough blahing I’ll let you read the manga now see you new time!

Well this chapter is more like an extra chapter. About a flashback of Len’s childhood. We remembered him being bullied and saying he almost lost the use of his fingers. Len not able to play the violin? Imagine that NO VIOLIN ROMANCE. I have to admit he looks pretty adorable in this chapter. I think I’m falling for Len more and more now, sorry Ryotaro I didn’t mean to back stab you. Enough about my fantasies.
Summary:
The chapter starts will him as a child in his 4th year in elementry school. Zaoniyu-sensei critics on Len’s violin playing saying “your violin playing has no life and feeling”. He follows that asking what do the violin means to him? Len was always amazing on the violin a 6th year boy noticed it. He was jealous infueled with anger and hate. The 6th year questions him why did Zaoniyu-sensei choose him? Len answers him he got into Sensei’s class will the amount of talent I have and follows that with “don’t blame me for your lack of talent”. Soon he attacks Len he will stop at nothing to make Len stop playing. He does this by taking a stone and threatens to hurt his fingers.* Len’s hero came Qusaki-senpai! He chased the bully away. It turns out he was Len’s classmate.
*Back to present time* We find Len reading a book. He thinks he lost an important thing, his fingers but he seems to have something else more important now. I’m not going to spoil it for you. I think you can figure out what is more important to him.
Notes: We now all learned Len as a child was quite niave. After meeting Kahoko he smarten up.
